Safeguarding

Student welfare comes first.

We are committed to creating a professional online learning environment where students feel safe, respected and able to learn.

Our safeguarding standards

Tutors working directly with children are expected to hold an appropriate enhanced DBS check. We also verify identity, assess teaching suitability and require tutors to follow professional boundaries and safeguarding procedures.

Online lesson expectations

  • Lessons take place through approved online systems.
  • Communication should remain on authorised channels.
  • Students and tutors must use appropriate language and behaviour.
  • Parents should ensure the student has a suitable place to learn.
  • Recordings, where used, are handled in line with the programme’s privacy information.

Raising a concern

If a parent, student or tutor has a concern, contact ExamReady promptly at hello@examready.org with “Safeguarding concern” in the subject line.

Immediate risk

If a child is in immediate danger, contact the emergency services on 999. Concerns can also be reported to the relevant local authority children’s services or the NSPCC.

Before public launch

Insert the named Designated Safeguarding Lead and final policy review date once formally confirmed.
